What Is DZUFFEE Coffee?
Hello! We are DZUFFEE Coffee from Toyo University. Dzuffee Coffee is a project which is working together with Seibo Japan.
Seibo Japan is a company supporting Malawi with its coffee. Our project is a part of Seibo's jobs and we suggest great ideas helping them sell coffee from Malawi!
Our team name is DZUFFEE: DZU means the sun in Nyanja and FFEE comes from coffee in English. Our slogan is "Bees Knees DZUFFEE" and we provide fresh and awesome coffee from Malawi to people in the world.
Our team
Akiho Higano
Akiho Higano is a junior at the Faculty of Human Life Design, Department of Human Environment Design at Toyo University. She is also a member of PEERS in Saitama Prefectural Police, a part of Asuport Volunteering from Saitama Prefecture, a fellow of Shed Design Group of Toyo University, and a member of Victims of Crime Support Group from Saitama Prefecture. Previously, she was awarded the honorable mention at Tanabe Seiko Prize for Literature in 2018, and commanded at House Assignment Competition from Tokyo Society of Architects & Building Engineers and received the 1st prize from the judge head in 2019. She used to work at Mary's Place in Seattle, the USA for one month, and take part in the internship program from the Institute for Human Centered Design in Boston, the USA for two months. After her graduation, she will launch a graduate school in Engineering. Her interest is sustainable environment design, universal design, and environmental psychology.
Akira Kawamoto
Akira Kawamoto is a junior at Toyo university at the Asaka campus. His faculty and major is life design and major is sports and health. He is going to get qualifications as a Health Fitness Programmer. Akira had belonged to basketball teams from elementary school to high school. His research in university is the origin and expectations of the B League Japan Basketball League. He has experience abroad in Canada for three weeks on a Toyo university program. Akira had took the English class named Achieve English for two years in Toyo. Qualification as English is TOEIC score 600 and the EIKEN 2 grade. His part-time job is a lifeguard at a municipally-owned pool. In 1998 he was born in Saitama prefecture, and lived in Shizuoka prefecture from Junior high school to high school.
Megumi Nakajima
Megumi Nakajima is a freshman at Toyo University at Asaka Campus. Her major is Human Environment Design. She wants to be an interior designer in the future so she is planning to study abroad then brush up her sense of design. Especially, she wants to study in Finland. Finland is famous for good design furniture so the experience will enhance her creativity. She has passed the Eiken grade Pre-1. TOEFL is more desirable than Eiken when someone go to study abroad so she wants to try TOEFL in this summer. Also, she is interested in the study of color too. There is a class about color in the fall semester. She is looking forward to taking the class.
